ACTIVITIES
1. Make structures by joining different Shape Blocks.
2. Using machines kits , make different structures.
3. Join story cards and narrate the story -
- Different shapes used in the picture.
- Measure the length of tree.
- If the deer runs 400 m /s , find its speed.
4. How will cat eat the mouse
- Measure the length of the path.
- prepare your own puzzle.
5. Heavy or Light – Provide objects to children such as bottle caps,seeds,beads,screws,pebbles,etc.
- Ask children to classify them as heavy or light.
- Encourage children to find things that weigh the same.
- Ask them to put objects in order beginning with lightest to heaviest.
6. Time - Set different times in different clocks.
- Ask children to observe the motion of second,minute and hour hand.
- Record the time in different clocks.
- Find the angle : acute ,obtuse and right between Hour and Minute needles.
- Draw clock and colour it.
- Write
the uses of clock : Clay activities for fraction.Many more activities can be
prepared based on concepts.
